Having made ourselves known to other operators and loving all sorts of animals as we do, we were able to add some unique services and combinations with our treks. Initially, we had a number of pet animals: goats, lambs, dogs and calves – plus we have our own chickens to provide us with eggs. Most animals have become very friendly as they have been hand raised and are more likely to come up to people than run away from them! We found that our clients loved to interact with the animals as much as we did, so we always make sure we have animals for people to touch and feed!

The local Jet Boat tour operator contacted us with the view of doing trek and Jet Boat combo’s. This has turned out to be one of our most popular trips and is especially great for beginner riders – not in the saddle long enough to get sore and a lot more confident when they get back on the horse for the return ride after the Jet Boat blast up the river!

Children play a major part in our business because we are one of the few trekking centres that caters for them! Having the ponies was Stan’s idea and has really been popular – we take ponies to birthday parties or the children come to us for either; pony rides, pony treks or wagon rides!

Our large picnic/barbeque area enables people to bring their own food and chill out in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
